Susan Fales-Hill
Susan Fales-Hill is an award winning writer and television producer who began
her career on the original “Cosby Show” after graduating with honors from
Harvard. She went on to be the Executive Producer/Head Writer of “A Different
World,” “Kirk,” “Linc’s” (which she co-created) and a Consulting Producer on
“Suddenly Susan.” In 2003, she published “Always Wear Joy” an acclaimed memoir
about her mother, the late actress, Josephine Premice. Her articles have
appeared in Vogue, Town and Country, Glamour, American Heritage and Travel and
Leisure. Susan, a former Elected Director of the Harvard Alumni Association
(2003-2007) serves on the boards of The Studio Museum in Harlem and American
Ballet Theatre (where she is Vice-Chair). Her latest novel, “One Flight Up,”
(Atria/Simon and Schuster, July 2010) has been hailed as “a chick-lit
masterpiece” by the New York Post, and a “beach read with a brain” by The Griot.
Susan lives in New York with her husband and her daughter.
