Harvard Serves: Miami - Camillus House

The Harvard Miami needs volunteers to help in the kitchen and serve meals at the Camillus House!

A few reminders:
  • Volunteers must be at least 14 years of age. Those are between the ages of 14-17 must be accompanied by an adult (18-years-old or older).
  • Dress code is long pants and a shirt (no tank tops, exposed shoulders, exposed midriffs—usually people wear jeans and a t-shirt); rubber soled shoes (such as sneakers—no sandals or flip flops). Hats or hair nets must be worn in the kitchen at all times. Hair nets and aprons will be provided for you at the shelter.
  • Parking is free of charge in our parking garage—you can access our garage through 15th street and at the gate dial #001 for the Guard House. Once you identify yourself they will let you in and you can park on the 4th and 5th level only. Please do not park on any reserved spaces.
  • The dining hall entrance is on the first floor of the same building, to the left of the elevators. Please proceed to the kitchen area and our cook will be expecting you to give you instructions.
