We invite you to a special Pre-Concert Reception and guided tour at the New World Symphony preceding the fellow-led concert, Wagner’s Ring: Valkyries + Valhalla from SoundScape Park.

The New World Symphony prepares graduates of music programs for leadership roles in professional orchestras and ensembles. Since its co-founding in 1987 by Artistic Director Laureate Michael Tilson Thomas and Lin and Ted Arison, NWS has helped launch the careers of more than 1,150 alumni worldwide. Hear the best of the Ring Cycle in under two hours! With tales of gods, goddesses, dragons, heroes and the infamous winged warrior Valkyries, Richard Wagner’s legendary Ring cycle comes to New World Center in an unforgettable immersive performance.

Agenda:
6:30 PM - Gather in the Third Floor Atrium for a pre-concert reception
7:00 PM - Take a guided tour of the New World Center's cutting-edge video production and control room
8:00 PM - NWS WALLCAST Concert with reserved seating in SoundScape Park

Harvard Club of Miami Members: No Cost*
Non-members/Additional Guests: $10

17th Street Garage - 1755 Meridian Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33139

(located on 17th between Meridian and Pennsylvania). Fee: $2/hr.

 

Pennsylvania Avenue Garage - 1661 Pennsylvania Avenue, Miami Beach, FL 33139

(Located between Pennsylvania Avenue and the New World Center; entrance to garage is located on Lincoln Lane, off Pennsylvania Ave.)

Fee: $15 Event Parking
